Controls & Sanctioned League Rules

Precision Controls

  • Quick-Point Aim: Click on or near any target ball to smoothly glide your aim line onto it.
  • Fine-Tune Aim: Drag slowly on the cloth, scroll the Mouse Wheel, or use A / D (← / →). Aim stays locked while shooting.
  • Strike (Power Bar or Cue): Pull down on the left POWER bar (or pull back the cue stick) and release to shoot. Hold Space for keyboard power.
  • English (Spin): Drag the red contact point on the right SPIN ball for follow, draw, or side spin. Double-click to center.
  • Shot Clock: 60s vs Computer, 30s Online, and custom timer vs Friends. Expiring time automatically passes the turn to your opponent.

Official Rule Sets & Authentic Ball Sets

  • WPA / WNT World Rules: Traditional Aramith Solids & Stripes (Purple 4 & 12, Maroon 7 & 15). Open after break; called 8-ball pocket; ball-in-hand anywhere.
  • APA Amateur League: Traditional Aramith Solids & Stripes. Groups claimed on the break; 8-ball on the break wins; break scratch in Kitchen; slop pots count.
  • BCA / CSI Pool League: Traditional Aramith Solids & Stripes. Open after break; called 8-ball pocket; scratching while shooting 8-ball only loses if 8-ball drops.
  • WEPF World Eightball (Blackball): Official Red & Yellow unnumbered solid balls + Black 8-ball. Fouls award the incoming player 2 consecutive visits from baulk (the Kitchen).
